Mantoux Test

Mantoux Test (Tuberculin Skin Test) to screen for potential exposure to Tuberculosis (TB). This is a two-step process that requires careful administration and expert reading.

How the Mantoux Test Works:

Day 1 (Administration): A small amount of PPD (Purified Protein Derivative) is injected just under the top layer of skin on your forearm.

Day 3 (Result Reading): You must return to the lab exactly 48 to 72 hours later. Our expert staff will measure the skin's reaction (the raised bump, not the redness) to determine if the result is positive or negative.
